Education

There is one school in Holliston.  Holliston School is a public elementary school belonging to the Saskatoon Public School Division.  Two members of the band Wide Mouth Mason (Shaun Verrault and Safwan Javed) attended and met while enrolled in Holliston School.

Parks and Recreation

Four city parks can be found throughout the Holliston neighbourhood.  Jeffery Park is located off Porteous Crescent.  Wiggins Park is found on Wiggins Avenue between 1st Street and 3rd Street.  Canon Smith Park can be accessed from Isabella Street or Taylor Street near Cumberland Avenue.  Holliston Park is located adjacent to Holliston School on the corner of Grosvenor Avenue and 3rd Street East.

Holliston's northern border is part of the 8th Street business district. 46 home-based businesses exist in the neighbourhood.

The nearest public library serving Holliston is the J.S. Wood branch of the Saskatoon Public Library, which is located at the corner of Lansdowne Avenue and Taylor Street.

The Holliston Community Association serves Holliston as well as the east part of the Haultain neighbourhood. It operates programs including sports for children/youth and fitness, recreation and leisure for all ages.

George Ward Pool is a public swimming pool that operates during the summer months. It opened on July 29, 1965 and was named after George Ward, a longtime administrator, official and organizer of sport programs in Saskatchewan.
