Education

There are two schools in Lakeview.  E'cole Lakeview School is a public elementary school belonging to the Saskatoon Public School Division that offers French Immersion studies.

Additionally, a separate Catholic elementary school named St. Bernard School (part of the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division) is located in the Lakeview neighbourhood.

Parks and Recreation

The single city park - Lakeview Park - can be found adjacent to both schools and features a large man-made lake on one end.

There are two small areas of commercial development in Lakeview. One is located on Taylor Street between Acadia Drive and Kingsmere Boulevard, and includes two office buildings and a mini-mall. The other is a strip mall on the corner of McKercher Drive and Stillwater Drive.  There are 100 home-based businesses in the neighbourhood.

The nearest public library serving Lakeview is the Cliff Wright branch of the Saskatoon Public Library, which is located at the Lakewood Civic Centre on McKercher Drive.
