Lawson Heights:

There are two schools in Lawson Heights.  Lawson Heights School is a public elementary school belonging to the Saskatoon Public School Division.

Lawson Heights Suburban Centre:

There is one school in Lawson Heights Suburban Centre.  Bishop James Mahoney School is a secondary school belonging to the Greater Saskatoon Catholic School Division.

Parks and Recreation

Lawson Heights:

Two city parks can be found throughout the Lawson Heights neighbourhood.  Rochdale Park is located adjacent to the two schools on Redberry Road.  Meewasin Park is located along Whiteswan Drive and overlooking the South Saskatchewan River.

Lawson Heights Suburban Centre:

Three parks can be found throughout the Lawson Heights SC neighborhood.  Umea Vast Park is located off Primrose Drive.  Bishop James P. Mahoney Park is located adjacent to the secondary school of the same name on Primrose Drive.  Umea Park can be found just off Pinehouse Drive.

In the same location as Umea Park on Pinehouse Drive can be found the Henk Ruys Soccer Centre, Lawson Civic Centre and Rusty MacDonald branch of the Saskatoon Public Library.

Additional Amenities

Commercial development is found throughout Lawson Heights Suburban Centre with a shopping mall (The Mall at Lawson Heights) and three strip malls with restaurants, veterinary offices, gas stations and other shops.
