Education
There is one school in Meadowgreen. W.P. Bate School is a public elementary school belonging to the Saskatoon Public School Division. W.P. Bate School was originally located at 342 Ottawa Avenue South in 1974. In September 2006, the school relocated to a new location at 2515 18th Street West.
Parks and Recreation
There are five parks in Meadowgreen. Peter Pond Park is located just off 20th Street West between Winnipeg and Ottawa Avenues. Cahill Park is located between Avenues X and Y off 21st Street W. Dutchak Park is located on Ottawa Avenue South where the former W.P. Bate School was situated. Meadowgreen Park is located adjacent to W.P. Bate School on 18th Street West and also opens to Wardlow Road. Finally, the largest green space in Meadowgreen - Kate Waygood Park - is located to the south of Appleby Drive and is accessible from Avenue W South.
