Erindale is a residential neighbourhood with access from McOrmond Drive, Kerr Road and Berini Drive to commercially developed market squares in University Heights with grocery stores, gas stations, clothing boutiques, restaurants, bakeries and coffee shops.
There are two elementary schools in Erindale and students can attend Father Robinson Catholic Elementary School and Dr. John G. Egnatoff Public Elementary School, named in honour of a former teacher, principal and university professor.
Parks and Recreation
There are three parks within Erindale Community: Don Ross Park, John Avant Park and Ernest Lindner Park which features a fully accessible playground for disabled children.. Erindale Community and Arbor Creek Community have combined efforts to form the Erindale/Arbor Creek Community Association organizes events and activities for residents in both neighbourhoods.
There is next to no commercial development in Erindale with the exception of a Mac's convenience store on the corner of Kenderdine Rd and Kerr Rd.
