Located in southeast Saskatoon, Saskatchewan within the Lakewood Suburban Development Area, Lakeview is a residential neighbourhood that is home to over 7000* residents.  One large park with lake and two schools service the residents of this community.

Neighbourhood Amenities

Lakeview is mostly residential although residents can enjoy the convenience of two small commercial developments with one mini mall on Taylor between Acadia and Kingsmere and a small strip mall on the corner of McKercher Drive and Stillwater Drive. Residents also have fairly close access to 8th street shopping district where residents can find shopping malls, restaurants, movie theatres, coffee shops and more. The nearest public library serving Lakeview is the Cliff Wright branch of the Saskatoon Public Library, which is located at the Lakewood Civic Centre on McKercher Drive.

Schools

There are two elementary schools in Lakeview: Ecole Lakeview School with the Saskatoon Public School Division and St. Bernard Catholic School. High School students can attend Holy Cross Catholic School or Walter Murray Collegiate.

Parks and Recreation

There are two parks in Lakeview: Lakeview District Park and Lakeview Park. Lakeview Park has the popular Lakeview Pond for those interested in paddle and water sports, as well as a ball diamond, tennis courts, walking trails and a large field for sports, play and picnics.
